Amsterdam pulls darker. Two of the city's most restless producers, DJ FREEKFUNK and Bo Bensdorp, meet in the deeper end of the dancefloor for Ascension — a three-track EP that abandons peak-time obligation for something more searching.

The pair have been quietly moving toward this space for the past year. Pulled into the gravity of acid lines, progressive textures, and the kind of hypnotic patience that doesn't always survive the club. Returning Visions anchors the EP — cosmic, slow-burning, the kind of focus track that earns its length. Acid Love and Voyage round out the set, the first leaning into raw 303 squelch and forward momentum, the second unspooling proggy textures under a driving low-end.
