Social Machine on OBSCUUR Records: Fantasy and GIVE IT 2 YA
Social Machine has released two singles on OBSCUUR Records in 2026. GIVE IT 2 YA came out on 10 April and is tagged Dance. Fantasy followed on 11 September with two tracks, Fantasy XTC and Sport Funk, and a wider set of tags: Electro, Techno/House and Dance. Both sit in the label’s catalogue and both are collected on the Social Machine artist page.
What has Social Machine released on OBSCUUR Records?
Two singles, five months apart.
GIVE IT 2 YA was first, released on 10 April 2026. It is a one-track single, tagged Dance. The title is short, loud and written for the floor. The full listing is on the GIVE IT 2 YA release page.
Fantasy arrived on 11 September 2026. It carries two tracks, Fantasy XTC and Sport Funk, and is tagged Electro, Techno/House and Dance. The listing is on the Fantasy release page.
How do the two Social Machine singles compare?
The shape changes from one release to the next. GIVE IT 2 YA is one track under one genre tag. Fantasy is a pair of tracks under three.
Electro and Techno/House join Dance on the second single. On the label, then, Social Machine is not confined to a single lane. The first release keeps things narrow and direct. The second opens the range.
Where does Social Machine fit in the OBSCUUR Records catalogue?
OBSCUUR Records is an independent label from Amsterdam and Berlin, built around high energy dance music: hard house, trance, bounce and garage. Distribution runs through ADA / Warner Music.
Social Machine’s tags, Dance, Electro and Techno/House, widen that picture. House and techno both grew out of 1980s club culture, so the overlap with a label this club-minded makes sense. Electro adds another shade to the same family.
Which Social Machine release should you start with?
If you want one idea delivered in one track, start with GIVE IT 2 YA. If you want range, go to Fantasy, where two tracks and three genre tags give you more to work with.
Both releases are listed on the Social Machine artist page, along with everything else the label has put out under that name.
Two singles in, Social Machine has already moved from Dance into Electro and Techno/House on OBSCUUR Records.
