Average – UNDERGROUND: new single on OBSCUUR

UNDERGROUND is a single by Average, released on OBSCUUR on 24 April 2026. It runs for 3:49 and sits across three genres: alternative, indie rock and dance. It is Average’s first release on the label.

What is UNDERGROUND by Average?

UNDERGROUND is one track, credited to Average, with a running time of 3:49. There is no B-side and no remix package. The single is the whole release, and it is a short one.

The title is a loaded word in dance music. It points at the rooms, the sound systems and the people who keep a scene moving away from the mainstream. How Average read that word is something the track itself has to tell you.

When did UNDERGROUND come out?

The single was released on 24 April 2026 through OBSCUUR. It is available now, so you can go straight to the release page and listen: UNDERGROUND on OBSCUUR.

What genre is UNDERGROUND?

The tags are alternative, indie rock and dance. That is a different mix from the hard house, trance, bounce and garage that most of the label’s catalogue sits in, and it is the reason this release deserves its own page. Guitar-led alternative and indie music has a long history of meeting the dancefloor halfway. This single is filed in that overlap.

Where can I find the release?

Everything about the single lives on its release page: open the UNDERGROUND release page. It carries the credits, the format and the date, and it is the place to start if you are a DJ or promoter looking for something outside the usual lanes.
